The complaint centered around the care provided to a sick dog, allegedly quite ill with infected eyes and a variety of other symptoms. Santibanez allegedly diagnosed anemia and prescribed supportive therapies, but follow-up with a veterinarian discovered the dog was diabetic and began insulin therapy. There were allegedly marked discrepancies in blood work performed at Santis Pet Clinic relative to the other facility.
